SVS Forum Featured DiscussionsYou may have missed that the SVS forum, thanks to Jon Stovell, has moved! There are some really great conversations going on within the new forums that we’d love to get your participation on.

Here are a few to check out:

Discussion on Baptism – There are some great questions and lively interaction around the topic of baptism. How should Vineyard pastors preach on baptism, especially if they are in cultural contexts that tend to lean a bit more sacramental via the ecclesial influences. What about different baptismal models being explored?

Recommended Books on the Genocide Texts – One of the members of our community asked for some recommendations on the biblical passages often referred to as the “Genocide Texts.” The discussion moved into some really great ideas in regards to how to understand those texts too. What do you think? Jump in and share your thoughts!

Welcome to Oligarchy – Oligarchy is a form of power structure where power essentially rests with a small number of people. This discussion is really interesting, especially if you are concerned with social justice, politics, and other culturally related issues. How would you explain a way of moving forward in an oligarchy?

We’d really love to get your thoughts on these important discussions! The SVS Forum is a great place to engage with other Vineyard thinkers on a wide range of important topics! If these three featured discussions don’t jump out at you, start your own topic!
