Title: Discerning the Voice: Vineyard Hermeneutics

At this moment, then, what we need is a positive account of what the Bible is, what it is for, and how the Church is constituted by hearing the Voice of God that echoes within it. So, that will be my task for the next few minutes, namely, to ask and attempt to answer: How does the Church discern the Voice of God in the Scripture? This is the central task for ecclesial hermeneutics. This is what it is to be church and to own the Scripture as the People of God.
