The SVS Discussion Forum, moderated by active members of the Society of Vineyard Scholars, is an online community in which several hundred people participate, keeping conversations going year round. This is a forum characterized by open dialogue animated by the sense of both freedom and responsibility felt by people aiming to thinking ecclesially — to “think with the Vineyard.”
Inside you will find a number of discussion boards for different sorts of dialogue.
Our General Category contains our main discussion boards. These are designed to encourage dialogue from diverse perspectives, organized into three levels of discourse:
- General Discussion: Feel free to talk about anything and everything in this board.
- Pastors and Scholars: Discussion in the vital interface of practice and scholarship.
- The Nerd Zone: Advanced academic dialogue and exchange.
We also have a number of specialized discussion boards. Examples include:
- Opportunities: Share announcements about grant opportunities, job postings, calls for papers, etc.
- Extra Patience Required: This board is for discussion of difficult issues. All participants are urged to go the extra mile in showing grace to other participants.
- Various boards for Special Projects and Working Groups: These private boards help facilitate collaborative projects among SVS members.
- Prayer Requests: This is the Vineyard. Of course we want to pray for you!
