Learning to Eliminate Obstacles to Abiding in Christ with the Help of Horses

Abstract:

Once a person accepts Christ, the Holy Spirit of Truth stays (abides) inside the individual. However, due to an individual’s morbid schemas deficits in their acknowledgment of and connection to Christ may exist. One can learn to discover where disparity may exist in connecting with His abiding Sprit by working with horses. Equines can be a unique instrument that assists in amplifying one’s internal psychological obstacles to acknowledging their constant attachment to Christ. Increased awareness of these barriers leads to exploring new strategies for intentionally accepting His Spirit living in a Christ follower. Consequently, this acceptance brings one a greater sense of His Security, Love and Healing, thus resulting in transformation. Connected, one bears more fruit. This is demonstrated by having an authentic thriving relationship with Christ and others.
