Abstract:

Drawing on Kimbell Kornu’s “The Beauty of Healing: Covenant, Eschatology, and Jonathan Edwards’ Theological Aesthetics Toward a Theology of Medicine” (2014), I argue that the importance of healing prayer and the emphasis on intimacy and expectancy in Vineyard worship mark the Vineyard as a movement with a strong (if implicit) theological aesthetics.
